Was amazed with the food. We had the shrimp, gumbo and boudin. Everything exceeded expectations even the leftovers were amazing. The bayou feel of the restaurant made the experience feel authentic. Definitely will be going back.

Small Cajun style restaurant in Canyon lake where there are only a few customers. Owner runs the place by himself and is a very nice person. Food was good but could be better. I'm sure it was the lack of customers that contributed to the 3 stars. I hope he stays in business since this area is growing.

Outstanding food!! You can smoke and bring your own beer and drink!!! Loved it!! Great stories even...doesnt look like a good place and looks like a shack...but the BEST food ever...about 50.00 for 4 people...yes i said 50.00 for 4 people!!!!

It is what it is, great food, unique out of the way place. The owner will come tell jokes if you bait him on :) Nothing fancy here and that is what makes it so great.I do wish they would get better Air Conditioning, if there is a lot of people it can be warmish(not bad could just be better).

Crawfish is very expensive. Place smells weird. Bathroom sinks don't function. No outdoor seating. Cigarette smoking inside flavors your food.

We went for dinner last night and the food was authentic and the service was great! This is the real deal type of seafood spot I’m used to back home. Whenever we come back to Canyon Lake, we will definitely stop by again. Oh and did I mention it’s BYOB!

Awesome people! The food is fantastic (and it's BYOB). They do a great job on the crawfish, and they'll keep them coming as fast as you want. Be sure to check out their eclectic ceiling and wall "art" . Find something I hadn't noticed before, each time I go. Best area for motorcycle riding! Try Devils Backbone. They aren't just biker friendly, they're people friendly.

Good food fair price, eat there every weekend

This place was terrible. Should have known that when I walked in.... looked very dirty and unsanitary. Took literally over an hour and a half to get crawfish for 4 people and they were awful, mostly mushy. Not sure who is rating this place 5 stars.... would not go back if you paid me.
